HHSC Introduces Electronic Learning Tools: Interactive way to Learn the EHR Incentive Program

HHSC is introducing computer-based learning tools to help explain the Texas Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program to eligible professionals and hospitals. The tools are interactive and self-guided with voice or closed-captioned narration.
There are two modules – one for eligible professionals and one for eligible hospitals. Each module includes several self-guided lessons on the various topics of the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. You choose the topic and follow the lesson. The knowledge gained will come in handy for enrolling in the incentive program or for the second step toward payment: attesting to meaningful use.

There is no need to download anything to your computer; the two modules are internet-based. Just click the button and begin. You may stop whenever you want and start again when you have the time or need to learn about a particular topic.
