Centene’s Texas Subsidiary Announces Contract Award for STAR Kids

ST. LOUIS (October 12, 2015) – Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) today announced that its wholly-owned Texas subsidiary, Superior HealthPlan, Inc., has been awarded a contract by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to serve STAR Kids Medicaid recipients. The new STAR Kids Medicaid managed care program will begin in the Fall of 2016.

Introducing Superior’s New Find a Doctor Tool

Superior members who need to search for a provider online can now get more information to access the care they need. The improved “Find a Doctor” tool has been updated for all Superior members. This tool can be used to find Primary Care Providers (PCPs), specialists, pharmacies, nursing facilities and other providers that will help members get well and stay well.
