<p><strong>4. REGLAMENTOS GENERALES:</strong></p>
<p><em>a) </em><em>Sólo pueden participar los miembros inscritos en STAR y STAR+PLUS de Superior HealthPlan que son residentes del Estado de Texas y les toca su próximo examen de PASOS SANOS DE TEXAS. Los miembros de Superior que sean menores de 18 años a partir del 1ro de abril de 2012, deben recibir el consentimiento de un padre o tutor legal para participar en el sorteo. </em></p>
<p><em>b) </em><em>El sorteo empieza a las 12:00 a.m. hora del centro, el viernes 1 de junio de 2012 y termina el sábado 30 de junio de 2012 a las 11:59 p.m. hora del centro.</em></p>
<p>c) Ningún empleado de Superior HealthPlan ni miembros de la familia inmediata ni las personas que vivan en la misma casa de ellos puede participar.</p>
<p>d) Está anulado donde lo prohíbe la ley. No se permite sustituciones, reembolsos en efectivo ni transferencias del premio por el ganador.</p>
<p>e) El pago de todo impuesto estatal y local es responsabilidad exclusiva del ganador. Se aplican todas las leyes y reglamentos federales, estatales y locales.</p>

LOUIS, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/&#8211;Centene Corporation (NYSE:<a href="http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=cnc" target="_blank">CNC &#8211; News</a>) today announced its Superior HealthPlan, Inc. and its Superior HealthPlan Network (collectively, &#8220;Superior&#8221;) have been tentatively awarded new contracts by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).  Superior retained its existing service areas and products, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Austin (STAR and CHIP)</li>
<li>Corpus Christi (STAR, STAR+PLUS and CHIP)</li>
<li>El Paso (STAR and CHIP)</li>
<li>Lubbock (STAR and CHIP)</li>
<li>San Antonio (STAR, STAR+PLUS and CHIP)</li>
</ul>
<p>Superior&#8217;s statewide Foster Care and CHIP Rural Service Area (RSA) products, as well as its Dallas STAR+PLUS program, will continue under contracts that were previously awarded as part of earlier bid processes.  Superior&#8217;s total membership in Texas as of June 30, 2011 was 470,400.</p>
<p>In addition, the new contract award expands Superior&#8217;s STAR, STAR+PLUS and CHIP product offerings as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>The new 10 county Hidalgo Service Area (STAR and STAR+PLUS)</li>
<li>Medicaid RSA West Texas</li>
<li>Medicaid RSA Central Texas</li>
<li>Medicaid RSA North-East Texas</li>
<li>Lubbock (STAR+PLUS)</li>
</ul>
<p>The total eligible population for Superior&#8217;s newly awarded service areas and products is expected to exceed 800,000.  The new Texas contract is expected to commence late in the first quarter of 2012.</p>
<p>All of these service areas and products will now include the management of the pharmacy benefit for Superior&#8217;s members.  In addition, the state has added inpatient facility services to the managed care structure for the STAR+PLUS program.</p>

<p>A &#8211; The A1c (HbA1c) blood test shows how well you have controlled your blood sugar over the past few months. Most people should aim for an A1c of 7 percent or less. Get this test at least twice a year.</p>
<p>B &#8211; The BMI (body mass index) measures your body fat based on your height and weight. An adult with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is at a healthy weight. A higher number means you are overweight.</p>
<p>C &#8211; A cholesterol blood test measures the “bad” fats (LDL cholesterol and triglycerides) and “good” fats (HDL cholesterol) in your blood. The “bad” fats can cause heart disease, and the “good” fats help prevent it.Your LDL should be less than 100mg/dL. Your triglycerides should be less than 150 mg/dL. Your HDL should be 40mg/dL or higher. Also, talk to your doctor about getting your eyes and feet checked annually.</p>]]></content:encoded>
