The nurse advice line is one of the benefits you receive from Superior HealthPlan. It is a health information line. The nurse advice line is ready to answer your health questions 24 hours a day – every day of the year. The nurse advice line is staffed with Registered Nurses. These nurses have spent lots of time caring for people. Now they are ready to help you.
Superior’s nurse advice line can help when you:
- Have questions about your health.
- Are worried about a sick child.
- Have questions about pregnancy.
- Don’t know how much medicine to give your child.
Sometimes you may not be sure if you need to go the Emergency Room. Call Superior’s 24-hour nurse advice line. They can help you decided if you have a real emergency. If you have a real emergency, go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room or dial 911.
Call 1-800-783-5386, and you will be connected to a nurse right away. The nurse advice line staff speaks English and Spanish. If you do not speak English or Spanish, please ask for a translator.
