On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. EVV Visit Transaction Rejection Codes to Begin April 1, 2024

Superior HealthPlan would like to share an important Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) update. Beginning April 1, 2024, EVV visit transactions with dates of service on or after April 1, 2024, will receive new visit transaction rejection codes, if the EVV aggregator receives incomplete or incorrect data.

Program providers and Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs) will see these new rejection codes in the EVV portal through the EVV Visit History search tab. To fix any errors, program providers and FMSAs must perform visit maintenance in the EVV system.
