On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Updated EVV Home Health Care Services Bill Codes Table

As a reminder, effective January 1, 2024, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is required for Medicaid Home Health Care Services (HHCS). Program providers and Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs) can refer to the bill codes table to familiarize themselves with the specific HHCS billing code combinations that require the use of EVV.

A new version of the EVV HHCS Bill Codes Table has been posted. Reference the revision description/history in this document for information about what was updated. The table is posted on the EVV 21st Century Cures Act webpage in Excel and PDF formats.
