2021 Clinical Guidelines: Submit Feedback by August 31, 2021

Date: 06/30/21

In October, Superior's Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) will vote on its 2021 clinical practice and preventive guidelines. The QIC consists of network practitioners who review, update and approve clinical guidelines. All guidelines are reviewed annually or when new scientific evidence or national standards are published. These evidence-based guidelines are used as a foundation when determining the best patient-centered diagnosis and treatment plans for members, and are known to be effective in improving health outcomes.

Superior’s QIC is requesting input from participating providers on any revisions needed to existing guidelines, as well as suggestions for new guidelines. In order for revisions and sources to be reviewed in October, providers must submit feedback by August 31, 2021.

Please email SHP.HEDIS@SuperiorHealthPlan.com and reference Practice Guideline Comments in the subject line when submitting. To access and review Superior’s current guidelines, as well as see additional resources for each guideline, please visit Superior's Practice Guidelines webpage. Please contact your Account Manager if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Please note: Providers may continue to submit feedback and revisions on all guidelines throughout the year.
