Giving Back
Superior HealthPlan’s culture is rooted in giving back to our local Texas communities. With thousands of employees across Texas, fundraising, volunteering, and donating have always been a part of what we do. Read below to learn more.
March of Dimes: Since 2015, Superior HealthPlan employees have supported March of Dimes and, in 2024, employees donated more than $10,500 to the Austin chapter of March of Dimes during an annual employee fundraiser. This funding helps support the March of Dimes and their goal to prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
Centene Impact: In collaboration with Centene, this initiative connects Superior HealthPlan employees with community service opportunities using their paid 8 hours of Community Impact Time. In 2025, employees volunteered for 3,098 hours and donated $31,094 with an additional $38,877 in company-matched donations.
Central Texas Floods: After flooding devastated Central Texas in 2025, Superior HealthPlan and Centene employees donated nearly $14,000, and volunteered to support local organizations, members, and providers that were impacted. Additionally, employees reached out to 70,000 members who lived in the area, ensuring they were able to get the resources they needed.
