Giving back is part of Superior’s culture. With more than 4,000 employees – in 8 offices across Texas – fundraising, volunteering and donating have always been a part of what we do. Read below to learn more.
Superior’s Community Outreach team volunteers across Texas to stay connected and give back. This supports our members, the community and the many agencies we work with to support those in need. In 2020, Superior’s outreach team volunteered 286 hours with partners across the state.
- United Way: Since 2015, Superior employees have donated $1.3 million to Texas chapters of United Way during the company’s annual fundraising campaigns. From supporting early education to providing food to low-income neighborhoods, these funds make a difference in the lives of Texans.
- Blood Drives: In 2019 and 2020, employees in Superior’s Austin and San Antonio offices participated in five total blood drives This was important in 2020 as COVID-19 caused a blood supply shortage. More than 150 employees donated blood during these drives. This could help save as many as 450 lives.
- March of Dimes: Since 2017, Superior’s Austin-based employees have supported March of Dimes. Employees have raised more than $50,000. This funding helps support the March of Dimes and their goal to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
