Vaping Prevention Competition Open to Texas Students
Date: 01/27/21
Superior HealthPlan is partnering with Centene Corporation to support a new Vaping Prevention Competition. Texas students are encouraged to join other students from across the country to participate. If a Texas student is one of the winners, a donation will be made to a non-profit of their choosing. Plus, all participants can earn community service hours by participating.
This competition will help students take action to solve the vaping problem. This is a national public health epidemic. The program challenges students to develop a 30 to 60-second Public Service Announcement (PSA). This PSA should be a video message that includes educational messaging to spread the word about the dangers of vaping.
The competition is open to U.S. residents ages 14 through 19. It runs from January 19 through April 16, 2021. Students can enter the contest or see full rules and details by visiting the Centene Institute Award webpage.
There is no purchase necessary. Entries submitted must be postmarked no later than April 16, 2021. No materials will be returned. This competition is open to kids who are at least 14 years old and not older than 19 at the time an entry submission is submitted. Void where prohibited.
