Effective June 30, 2025: Superior HealthPlan to Discontinue Tomorrow Health DME-POS Pilot Program for Members in Bexar Service Delivery Area

Superior HealthPlan will discontinue the partnership with Tomorrow Health and use of their online ordering platform for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Medical Supplies (DME-POS) effective June 30, 2025. This change will impact DME suppliers and referring providers serving Medicaid (STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids) and CHIP in the Bexar service area, which includes the following counties:
- Atascosa
- Bandera
- Bexar
- Comal
- Guadalupe
- Kendall
- Medina
- Wilson
Discontinuation of the online ordering platform will only impact providers and DME suppliers who participated in the pilot program.
Effective July 1, 2025, all processes related to DME orders will revert to the standard procedures that were in place prior to the start of the pilot. This transition is not expected to cause any disruption to service or patient care.
Referring Providers & DME Suppliers:
- Please reference Superior’s Provider Manuals and Superior’s Authorization Requirements webpage for the Prior Authorization Electronic Pre-Screen Look-up Tools for guidance on requesting DME.
- Superior will honor the member’s choice if the member is actively eligible at the time of service and the requested provider is in-network.
- DME suppliers are encouraged to complete Superior's DME Provider Database Form identify services and supplies they provide. This information will help Service Coordinators and Customer Service Representatives find appropriate services and supplies for members who have not selected a preferred provider.
