Update to Mail Order Pharmacy

During 2020, Centene has experienced pivotal growth. For this reason, Superior HealthPlan will move from Homescripts Mail Service Pharmacy to CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy on the following dates:
- 11/1/2020: Medicaid (STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids, STAR+PLUS), CHIP and Allwell from Superior HealthPlan (Medicare)
- 12/1/2020: STAR+PLUS Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP)
- 1/1/2021: Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan (Marketplace)
For all lines of business: Homescripts will continue to service mail order prescriptions until the above effective dates.
What you should know for our members:
- This change impacts each line of business (LOB).
- This change affects only prescriptions filled through the mail.
- Medicaid, CHIP and Medicare may continue to refill their mail service prescriptions with Homescripts until 10/31/2020.
- MMP members may continue to refill their mail service prescriptions with Homescripts until 11/30/2020.
- Ambetter members may continue to refill their mail service prescriptions with Homescripts until 12/31/2020.
- Members’ current refills for legend drugs will be transferred to CVS Mail Service Pharmacy automatically. Controlled substances will not transfer from one mail order pharmacy to another.
- Please provide the member with a new prescription for controlled substances if they wish to use mail service.
- The member should not experience any interruption in mail service delivery.
- Ambetter members will have a 2.5x copay on 90-day supplies if they use CVS Mail Order beginning 1/1/21.
If you have a member wishing to use CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy on or after 11/1/20 (for Medicaid, CHIP and Medicare) and 12/1/20 (for MMP) or 1/1/21 for Ambetter there are three easy ways to get started:

- Members may mail a completed enrollment form to CVS Caremark
