Upcoming Live Availity Training for Doula Providers

Superior HealthPlan would like to notify providers that Availity will be hosting a live training webinar for doula providers. This session, Availity Essentials Overview for Doula Providers, will be facilitated on:

  • Tuesday, December 16, 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. CST

Join an Availity trainer to learn how doula providers can use Availity Essentials to submit and follow up on claims. In this session, Availity will cover: 

  • Adding your information to Manage My Organization
  • Assigning roles
  • Checking Eligibility & Benefits Inquiry 
  • Setting your Reporting Preferences
  • Submitting a claim via Claims & Encounters
  • Following up on your claim via Claim Status and Send and Receive EDI Files 

Please note: To access Availity webinars, doulas must have an NPI and be registered under that NPI on their Availity account.   

To Register for an Availity Account:

  1. Go to the Availity webpage.
  2. Select Create a Free Account.
  3. Enter your information and click Continue.

Enrolling for a webinar for Doula Providers in the Availity Learning Center (ALC):

This session is multi-payer and is being offered to doula providers anywhere:

  1. Log into Availity Essentials.
  2. Select Help & Training > Get Trained.
  3. Navigate to the Catalog.
  4. Search Doula.
  5. Select the webinar title, review the dates/times, and Enroll in the session you wish to attend.

Following the live webinar, a recording will be available in the ALC that you can access.
