ATTENTION MEDICAID AND CHIP MEMBERS: NEW ID CARD EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024

In November and December, STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids, STAR+PLUS and CHIP members will receive a new Superior HealthPlan ID card. The new ID card will be effective January 1, 2024. We are sending members a new card for 2024 because we updated the pharmacy information on the front of the card, including the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). The PBM is changing from CVS to Express Scripts.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2023

• Keep using your current ID card through December 31, 2023. Your new ID card won’t work before January 1, 2024.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO ON JANUARY 1, 2024

• Start using your new card on January 1, 2024. You will need the new card to get your prescription drugs.
  
• The front of the 2024 ID card includes the following Rx codes:
  • RXBIN: 003858
  • RXPCN: MA
  • RXGRP: 2FDA
  • PBM: Express Scripts
    
• Make sure your pharmacy is still in our network. You can check this on our website: Find a Provider. Or you can call Member Services at the number on the back of your ID card.

Please keep your ID card with you at all times.
