Preferred Provider for Incontinence Supplies
Date: 03/13/26
Superior HealthPlan Medicare-Medicaid dual eligible (Dual) members received a communication in December 2025 regarding a preferred provider arrangement with Tenderheart Health Outcomes (Tenderheart) for incontinence supplies. Superior has not finalized a date for implementation of this program. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) incontinence supply providers and Superior members will be notified of further details and information about this proposed program well in advance of the implementation date. Superior is committed to ensuring that a member’s right of provider choice is preserved with any preferred provider arrangement and complies with a member’s right to opt out of any preferred provider arrangement, upon request.
To ensure continuity of care and ongoing receipt of medically necessary incontinence supplies for Superior members, please continue to supply your current patients with all medically necessary incontinence supplies.
Please note the following:
- Superior will distribute a list of members who have made a choice to transition their receipt of incontinence supplies to Tenderheart.
- For ONLY those members, please discontinue distribution of incontinence supplies unless distribution is requested to resume by the member, the member’s physician, or Superior.
We value your participation in our network and appreciate your continued cooperation. If you have any questions regarding this communication or the member list that you receive, please contact your Superior Provider Representative.
