October 24: Drug Take-Back Day

Superior HealthPlan is supporting the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event offers individuals a safe and easy way to discard unused or expired prescription medications.
In support of this initiative, Superior encourages providers to educate members on the dangers of drug misuse and over-use, as well as inform members about where to find drop-off locations to dispose of unwanted prescriptions in their area.
Please note: If members are unable to dispose of their unused or expired medications on October 24, year-round pharmaceutical disposal locations are available. To find a disposal location in your area, visit the DEA: Year-Round Drop-Off Location Search webpage.
