On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. NEW 1/1/23: Order Over-The-Counter Items through CVS

On January 1, 2023, Superior members will get over-the-counter (OTC) items through CVS and OTC Health Solutions® (OTCHS).

The OTC Value-added Service* offers you three new easy ways to get generic over-the-counter health and wellness items. No prescription is needed, and items are mailed to your home. As a reminder:   

  • STAR and CHIP members can order up to $25 per quarter, per member in OTC items.
  • STAR+PLUS, STAR Kids and STAR Health members can order up to $30 per quarter, per member in OTC items.

There are three easy ways to get your OTC items:

1.     Online:

a.     The fastest and easiest way to order 24/7 is to visit: www.cvs.com/otchs/SuperiorHealthPlan.
b.     Orders must be placed by 11:59 PM ET of the last day of the month.

2.     By Phone:

a.     Orders can be placed by calling 1-888-628-2770 (TTY: 711).
b.     You can talk to an agent Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 8 PM local time, or use the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system 24/7.

3.     In Store:

a.     You can pick up your OTC items at any OTCHS-enabled CVS store. To find the closest location, go to www.cvs.com/otchs/SuperiorHealthPlan.
b.     IMPORTANT: Not all CVS stores participate in this benefit. To find the closest location, go to www.cvs.com/otchs/SuperiorHealthPlan or call OTCHS at 1-888-628-2770 (TTY: 711).
